Tiff Wheeler
Birthday: October 18, 1972 (I don't mind people knowing my age...it's just a number! I still feel like a teenager!)
Family: Two sons, Robert and Andrew
My dad is Johnny Wilson from the BigTime Party Band. My brother John is also in the BigTime Party Band. My mom Frances Wilson enjoys entertaining people too. She has an alter ego, Aunt Francine. Aunt Francine has been known to show up at different events to start a lot of trouble! People love her! Just can't figure out why!
Education: AAS In Child Development
Hobbies: If the fish are biting...I like to fish. If they don't bite in the first five minutes....I'm done for the day! I can bait my own hook, take the fish off and yes...I can clean my own fish! If the weather is nice I take my boys fishing.
I love to cook! My favorite thing to cook is anything with sugar!
Playing the piano...not very good at it though.
I love to talk to anyone who is willing to listen!
Other interesting tidbits: At age 16 I was one of the yougest club dj's in the area. I worked at Pokey's Pub for 5 years in Sanford, NC. My dad Johnny owns, "Here's Johnny!" DJ Service. We were the father/daughter tag team so to speak. I would dj at the club on Friday's, he'd dj on Saturday's. We also did many private events. Dad continues to dj for all types of events. I gave up the dj life after getting married.
Never in a million years would I have thought I would be singing in front of people! I started singing in the church choir when I was around 20 years old. At 21 I sang a small solo, (2 lines I think!) and I thought I would pass out! All of my experience has been singing at church. The first "outside of the church" atmoshphere I sang at was Spring 2007 at SOS. I know beach music pretty well...but I am very new at trying to sing it! I'm loving every minute of it!
First recording experience:
The very first song I ever recorded was “Wade in the Water”. The experience was amazing! I had never been in a recording studio of any kind. It was like going to Disney World for me! “Wade in the Water” is now out on Sounds of September Volume II. Sounds of September Volume II is not available to the public. It has been distributed to various dj's through out the east coast.
