It's finally done!!!! "Do Ya Like?" has been mixed. mastered, mixed and mastered again....and now we are done!!!  Went to to KHP on Tuesday night and of course had a blast!  My brother added vocals and the drums were jazzed up....sound great!  The title of the upcoming cd is This Is It, due out in Jan. 2008.  I'm very excited because this will be the first time I'll have a song on a cd that is available to the public. I know I have said it before..but I will say it again...this is not what I have had planned in life!  I'm loving every minute of it!  If it all goes away tomorrow...well at least I can say I did it and it was fun....but I hope it doesn't go away anytime soon!!!

Oh my!  Christmas is almost here and I still haven't finished my shopping!!!  Tis the season to be STRESSED!!!  HO HO HO HA!

Tomorrow I will be heading back to KHP to finish the tweaking of "Do Ya Like?" We are adding more background vocals to the song and adjust the drums somewhat.  I need to thank my brother, John Wilson for his vocal additions...thanks lil' brother!   I'm very excited about going back down there!  I'm like a kid in a candy shop!  Watching Keith Houston at work is amazing!  He has an amazing ear to the smallest details!!!  He is such a hard and overworked guy!!  So if you see him on stage with the Band of Oz...or if you just see him out and about...tell him thanks for all the hard work he does to keep Carolina Beach Music alive!
